Farewell

The first and second year under-graduate students of St. Aloysius College, Harihar bid farewell to their seniors during a farewell party on 30th April, 2019.

The farewell party was organised at the college auditorium where all the seniors and juniors assembled elegantly dressed and had a lot of fun.

It was an honour to have Fr. Santhosh Fernandes S.J as the Chief Guest for the Farewell Party. The party began with marching-in of the seniors into the auditorium with lit candles.

The party then saw the juniors lovingly and enthusiastically performing dance and mime for their dear seniors. The juniors created an ambience of enjoyment for their seniors to enjoy their last memories in the college. The juniors also presented a video, taking their seniors through their three years of journey in the college. The event was made memorable with the flashback memories that were shared by some seniors and their beloved teacher, Prof. Mousin Ulla. The cultural programme was followed by the distribution of mementos.

The Chief Guest, Fr. Santhosh Fernandes S.J then addressed the outgoing students reminding them always to be grateful to their “alma mater” and wished them all success for their future.

The Principal of the College, Fr. Eric Mathias S.J then addressed the students reminding them the core values of Jesuit education and wished them all success for their future endeavours.

The farewell party came to an end with the sumptuous meal followed by games; conducted by the juniors which was greatly liked and enjoyed by all.
